In a word… nothing. It seems I am in a “holding pattern” of some sorts. This morning during my daily prayer and study time this verse glared out at me:
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Psalms 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Now I have to ask myself is this me? Or is God speaking to me? Bluntly put, I don’t know. It is not “writer’s block”. The book is finished. It has been through several edits and beta reading. All I can say for sure is I’ve no clear direction on the next step. Perhaps I am supposed to step into murky waters. All I can do at the moment is step back, settle in, and continue to seek God.
