Truth be told, I want to get on with writing this morning but I’m a bit stuck on my current project. As I mentioned before it is a new genre – for me anyway, I’m sure someone has written something similar before. I’ve been plugging along on it for a while now. That’s the key word here – “plugging”. As in sluggish. As it “get on with it already!”. If it bores me to write it, how can it be anything but boring to read? To be fair, anything that seems to slow the pace will find itself cut out of the book. Or as I say when I watch characters cut out of a series… “contract disputes can be brutal”.
As far as “Dirty Little Secrets” is concerned, I’m not promoting it. and I’ve taken to mostly ignoring it. I doubt if it will take off on it’s own so it is destined to languish in the Twilight Zone of unwanted books. The good news is, I’ll never see stacks of them at Books a Million or some other mass discounter. Nosiree. Anyone who wants the book will have to pay full price – at least for now. Eh, it’s cheap enough as it is. Anyone who buys it, actually reads it and takes action will recoup this pittance almost immediately.
Enough dilly-dallying, I need to get to work. If you have questions, feel free to comment, drop me a line or some such.
